Midsummer

June 21st, 2009: 10° Celsius, thunderstorms, sunshine, rain, hail, storm – was this April weather or midsummer?! But, the representatives of our stopover ports have promised, “Don’t worry, be happy – the weather will be fine during the entire event. Nice sunshine, moderate breeze – best conditions for good fair racing ....” So, here’s our report on the final planning moves:

Sailing Instructions Part A are written and WeiteWeltDesign is doing the layout for printers Kabel Druck. We’ll send out the brochure next week and include an amendment to the Notice of Race showing the allocation of classes in the ORC Division (the IRC Division will not be split). As every year prizes will be presented in each port – this year owing to the economic situation slightly reduced in size but with kudos undiminished!
